PayPal is known and used worldwide to send and receive money. You can incorporate the PayPal system into a website so that you can accept credit cards payments for goods on your site or you can use PayPal to accept or send payments for online auction sales. Paypal has been acquired by eBay and the PayPal system has been incorporated into the eBay Auction site so that people can just click on 'checkout' to pay for items which they have just bought, without having to wait for e-mails from the seller etc. They accept Solo and Visa Electron debit cards for signing up, as well as credit cards and have changed their terms and conditions, making them much better to deal with. For a personal account, it's FREE to send and receive money. Premier accounts incur a very small fee on money received. If you're serious about selling in online auctions, then PayPal is a must as it makes exchanging money with people from abroad much easier. If you're a regular auction buyer, then you'll find that most of the serious sellers use PayPal, so it works both ways. They operate using various currencies now, including GB Pounds.
Nochex is a UK site that lets you send and receive money to and from anyone with an email address and a UK debit card. It's FREE to send and receive money but you pay a small charge to load money into your account and a small amount to withdraw money. Nochex is another essential sign up for the serious auction seller and buyer, even though it's not as popular as PayPal. As a seller, the more choices of payment that you have, the more people will bid on your auctions and as a buyer, the more options of paying at your disposal, the more choice of bargains you'll have.
